2012 Youth Aviation Day Fly-In at the St. Louis Downtown Airport.

The 2012 GEM Youth Aviation Day Fly-In gave over 90 kids the opportunity to experience their first flight in aircraft flown by GEM pilots, three pilots from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and John Hicks who joined us from Tuskegee, Alabama.  The kids also received a complimentary lunch, free tee-shirts, got to try their hand on a flight simulator and were given an orientation on the emergency response team at the St. Louis Downtown Airport.
