Welcome!

The Gateway Eagles serve the greater St. Louis minority community by increasing awareness of the role of aviation in our society. To that end, G.E.M. supports activities that encourage minorities to become active participants in aviation. G.E.M.'s specific objectives are:
  • To provide programs that generate public interest in aviation and introduce children and young adults to aeronautical and related sciences.
  • To encourage and support young adults in pursuit of careers in aviation and related fields.
  • To foster scholastic achievements, the development of sound character, physical fitness, and an interest in aviation by children and young adults through mentors, tutors, family involvement, and direct participation.
  • To enhance the aeronautical knowledge, skills, and proficiency of its members through association and sharing of mutual interests.
  • To accelerate the implementation of policies by individuals and institutions that will assure equal opportunity and treatment for minorities by the aviation community.
The next meeting will be at Executive Beechcraft, Spirit of St. Louis Airport on Saturday, September 11th at 10:00 AM
